The ceremony, opened by the President of Mozambique Armando Emilio Guebuza, was a resounding success. The project, essential to Sub Saharan infrastructural development, was for many a pleasure and a realisation of hard work and we supplied the crisp and stately tents for the official opening.
MPR Hiring takes pride and sometimes extreme measures to ensure that these important occasions are accommodated not only beautifully and comfortably but safely and efficiently too. The structures erected at Gigawatt Park did not fall short of our global standard.
Ressano Garcia, the small town at which the new station was constructed and which hosted the opening ceremony on the border between South Africa and Mozambique, was for the duration of the celebrations transformed into a plush and inviting setting where the importance of the proceedings was clearly communicated to everyone by the grace and style of the event set up and equipment. The power station itself is set to produce 107.5 megawatts of power for Electricidade de Moçambique, (the Mozambican power utility) and for Eskom of South Africa.
Among the notable dignitaries were members of the ordinary public who seldom have a chance to see the way in which events of this nature serve to bring many high profile people together. The inner councils of several think tanks and other development strategy VIPs were all.
MPR Hiring strives for the discipline and service excellence required by these events and looks forward to continuing the product offerings and team performance we have offered to the top echelon of event planners for more than four decades.
Congratulations and thanks to all who were involved and most particularly to those members of our own crew (they know who they are) who once again worked magic.
